Juan S. - Guitar
Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, Juan has studied mariachi music for over 25 years.
Juan is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is the managing partner of JMS CPAs PLLC.
In his spare time he likes to coach boxing to underprivileged youth.
Abel S. - Vihuela
Abel has been playing the vihuela for over 21 years. He started playing guitar and has been a mariachi musician for 25 years.
When Abel is not playing with Mariachi San Antonio he works as a portfolio manager for a community bank.
In his free time Abel enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and has a love for local coffee shops.
Greg M. - Violin
From San Angelo, Greg has been playing the violin since high school. He works as a diesel mechanic for Holt Cat. He is a fan of the Atlanta Braves.
Juan N. - Violin
A native of Corpus Christi and graduate of Baylor University, Juan has been performing mariachi music for over 25 years. When not performing he works as a real estate investor.
Othon C. - Trumpet
Othon has been studying the trumpet for over fifteen years. A native of Durango, Mexico, he is co-owner of his family’s construction company “Shed Brothers”.
Carlos G. - Guitarron
Carlos has been playing the guitarron for over thirty years. After twenty-five years of professional performance experience, he decided to pursue his long-time goal of forming his own professional mariachi group, the result of which is Mariachi San Antonio.
Carlos is graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and works as special education teacher for a local school district when not performing with Mariachi San Antonio.
Carlos is an avid reader and enjoys spending his free time with his children.
